Wanderlust Fitness Village

Over 1000 square meters of indoor training space filled with barbells, ropes, sled tracks, pull up rigs, muscle up rigs, kettlebells and cool down areas. All situated in the rice-field dotted surf town of Canggu, Bali.

We’ve partnered with Wanderlust Fitness Village to give you the space you need and the equipment you expect.

Our goal for the week is to show you how you can balance travel and your training goals. You should not have to sacrifice your health while traveling, and the wanderlust fitness village is the perfect place to show you how this can be done.

Rest is also super important. We have also ensured a 5 star beach front hotel to rest and recover at the end of each day.


Built directly adjacent to Wanderlust Fitness Village, the brand new recovery zone is a purpose built facility to take care of your post-training needs.

There’s a 25m lap pool for active long form recovery sessions, combined with a splash pool to hang out on floating beds and soak up the sun.

There’s 2 ice baths to rotate cold / hot therapy between while you jump back into the HUGE 20 person sauna.

Meanwhile, you can grab a cold brew lemon green tea while you chill in the jacuzzi and catch your breath before the next workout kicks off.



We’ve programmed a week of training and adventure to ensure you get the best Wanderlust experience possible.

Day 1 – Sunday

Arrive in Bali and be greeted by one of our amazing drivers who will take you and your stuff from the airport to the hotel.

Explore around the pool, beach and area while everyone arrives. Get ready for the welcome dinner

Welcome Dinner at the amazing Wanderlust Cafe, where you will hang out with Ian and Meg as well as the rest of the Effortlessly Earpy retreat crew.  This will be a great opportunity to socialize with old and new friends while we talk about the amazing things in store for the week.

Tonight’s dinner and drinks will be complimentary at the healthy Wanderlust Cafe in the heart of Canggu

Day 2 – Monday

Wake up and enjoy the complimentary breakfast buffet at the hotel

Transport to Wanderlust Fitness Village for our first training session with Ian and Meg at 7am

Post workout relax at Wanderlust and enjoy a nice shower, dip in the pool, hot tubs, cold tubs, or sauna.

Transportation to Brunch at one of Ian and Meg’s favorite spots 

Take the afternoon to relax back at the hotel

Transport back to Wanderlust for our second session which is a Pool Workout

Casual dinner plans are made each night. We give you the flexibility to join the group or venture out on you own so you can try that new restaurant you have been hearing about.

*We would encourage you to do some of your own research prior to coming, because there are so many great restaurants in the Canggu area.

Day 3 – Tuesday

Wake up and enjoy the complimentary breakfast buffet at the hotel.

This morning the surf guides will pick you up and take you to the beach for a Surf Lesson.

Transport to a well deserved Brunch after surfing at one of Ian and Meg’s favorite spots.

Back to the hotel to relax for the afternoon

Transport back to Wanderlust for our 3rd training session with Ian and Meg

Casual dinner plans as a group or the opportunity explore a dinner spot for yourself.

Day 4 – Wednesday

Wake up and enjoy the complimentary breakfast buffet at the hotel.

Transport to Wanderlust Fitness Village for our 4th training session with Ian and Meg at 7am.

Post workout relax at Wanderlust and enjoy a nice shower, dip in the pool, hot tubs, cold tubs, or sauna.

Transport to Brunch at one of Ian and Meg’s favorite spots.

This afternoon we are heading north to Ubud which is known for some of Bali’s most beautiful jungle scenery.  We will spend the afternoon being taught how to cook some authentic Balinese foods.

Day 5 – Thursday

Wake up and enjoy the complimentary breakfast buffet at the hotel.

This morning you will have a full block of downtime to do some relaxing, exploring, shopping, or another epic Bali adventure.  Our first planned activity will not be until the afternoon so spend this time how you want.  Please feel free to ask us any questions you may have. Pro Tip: Grabbing a massage is a great option.

In the afternoon there’ll be transportation to Wanderlust for our 5th Training Session with Ian and Meg.

After training will be Sunset Yoga on the deck at the hotel.  This will get us ready for a great night of sleep to prepare for a big day tomorrow.

Get to bed VERY early!

Day 6 – Friday

Early wake up call and gather in the hotel lobby, bring pillows and some warm clothes.

Meet at the foot of the active volcano Mount Batur, grab your flashlight and we start trekking.

Arrive at the summit on the crater rim and enjoy an amazing sunrise from an active volcano. We will spend about an hour enjoying the views while having a hot beverage.

Transport back to the hotel for some much needed downtime and most likely a nap.

Spend the afternoon/evening with a proper recovery session at the Wanderlust Recovery Zone. Chill in the pool, or chill even more in one of the two ice baths or the huge jacuzzi, or even just jump in the sauna and watch the sunset over the rice fields.

Finish the day with casual dinner plans as a group or the opportunity explore a dinner spot for yourself.

Day 7 – Saturday

Wake up and enjoy the complimentary breakfast buffet at the hotel

Transport to Wanderlust for our 6th training session as we join the Saturday Smasher with the huge community at Wanderlust Fitness Village.

There’s time for a hang in the Wanderlust Recovery Zone if you’d like to float off the endorphins from the Saturday Smasher class, before getting back to the hotel and getting ready for the best beach club in Bali.

Spend the afternoon/evening at the world famous Finns Beach Club enjoying some food and drinks on us.  It is time to relax and celebrate an amazing week. Make sure you’ve packed your best swimming costume, the whole evening will be spent poolside!

Day 8

Morning: Crawl out of bed whenever you want or if you’re game there’s an optional session at Wanderlust with the 9am Sunday Smasher crew.

Noon: Checkout from hotel. If there’s time we’ll gather for a last lunch together beside the pool.

Later… We’ll take you back to the airport if you’ve book flights out today.

Wondering where you will sleep? When it comes to accommodation, we know you will love the contemporary design, organic feel, premium location, and gorgeous beach views from the Four Star Accommodation we arranged for the week. It is a beach front location that does not disappoint!

During the retreat you will share a gorgeous twin share room with one other attendee of the same gender.  Everyone has full access to the hotel amenities, such as swimming pool and bar. Plus, when you are in Bali the surf and sand is never far away.

Not into sharing a room? No problem. We design our fitness retreats to be social, but we do not want to crowd or cramp your personal space. Therefore, if you want one of these spacious rooms all to yourself, go for it! A single room comes with an increase in price, and some additional privacy. You can indicate your preference when registering!
